Getting Ready For A Figure Competition Just Got Easier
Instead of trying to figure it out by yourself this program will take you step by step from the first day of contest prep until show day. I realize that most figure competitors have very little guidance. Of course the top competitors have their own personal trainers, nutritionists and sponsors to fit the bill... the average competitor (the other 95%) just wants to compete in great shape. Many don't have the natural genetics that a lot of the girls you see in the magazines have and must work harder. This program is for the genetically un-gifted... the woman who carries extra body fat in her hips and thighs, or has that pooch that doesn't want to go away.

12 bite-sized nuggets: competition prep is usually 12 weeks so that's how long this program is, each week you get another lesson with more workouts (that increase with intensity as you get closer to your show), cardio instructions and posing instruction.  Giving you all of this information to you at once would be information overload which causes the brain to 'shutdown'. The 12 individual lessons are enough to keep you learning and busy practicing (your posing) without getting overwhelming.

1.  Hiring a personal trainer can be a waste of time and money
Let's face it, most personal trainers have trouble getting results in women who are just trying to lose a few pounds. Training competitors is a entirely different ball game. If a trainer doesn't have a lot of experience with figure competitors, then they are just guessing. Early in my training days I was training clients 60 hours a week, even though I was the most popular trainer in the gym and had success with women and fat loss - I still would not have known how to train a figure competitor. It took a lot of focused training, trial and error until I was confident enough to train competitors. Don't play a guessing game when it comes to your figure competition.

2. Easy to follow
There is a lot to learn in preparation for a figure competition. Trying to figure it out all on your own, trying to piece it together on the internet or listening to the local gym 'expert' are not acceptable because you don't have time to waste on guessing, you need something consistent and easy to follow.
This program takes you from from day 1 of contest prep to your actual competition day - over 12 weeks to get you ready for your next competition.
Every week for 12 weeks I will send you lessons (by email link) with new workouts, posing instructions, video clips, downloadable files and anything else that may be necessary for you to succeed. This may sound like a lot of information but it's spaced out so that you are not overwhelmed. If you follow the program each week, you will get onstage looking great and posing like a champ.

3. Weekly progressions
The workouts get more difficult every few weeks to keep fat loss consistent. Also, each week you will add to your posing knowledge. There will be posing assignments each week, new workouts and instructions on whether to change your cardio workout or keep it the same.

You ever read a story about a figure competitor who lost 25-30lbs to compete? How amazing? Right? ...NOT! The fact is that losing 25 or 30 lbs is common place for the average competitor. And that average woman/competitor is likely to have extra fat somewhere - whether it's in the legs, abdominal region or upper arms.  You may read magazine/internet articles from competitors that say: "I only stay 10lbs from competition weight all year round" and think this is the norm. It's not! The average competitor will have quite a bit more weight to lose than that
(especially new competitors), so don't let comments like that discourage you. You can do it with hard work and dedication.

Good question... glad you asked. My name is Terry Stokes and I've been training figure competitors since the very beginning. I actually trained my first competitor before there was ever a show in my home town of Buffalo NY. I knew that eventually we would have a show... and I wanted to have a competitor there because I thought figure was the perfect blend of femininity, muscularity and athleticism.  Since then I've been training figure competitors 7 days a week. The absolute toughest job in all of training... getting women lean enough for competition is something I embrace. Unlike many trainers I've seen, I don't pick and choose who I train! Any woman with a dream to get onstage - I will train to do so. It's an awesome feeling to see someone achieve what is arguably the most difficult endeavor they will ever accomplish.
